David Holland, Executive Director
David Holland began his
career with Price Waterhouse in Sydney. As part of PwC’s Transaction Services
team he worked in support of mergers and acquisition across a variety of
sectors for both corporate clients and financial investors.
In 2000 David joined the
London office of Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a private equity firm specializing
in Media, Information and Education. During this time he was responsible for
sourcing, executing and managing investments across the UK and Europe and has
sat on the boards of numerous businesses.
Notable transactions include the
roll-up of telephone directories across several countries, including the
simultaneous merger and €1 billion recapitalisation of the resulting group.
David led the acquisition and reorganisation of GL Assessments, the UK’s
leading independent school testing company and played a key role the
acquisition of Clarion Events, with subsequent add-ons helping Clarion become a
global player in the trade show sector. His transaction experience also
includes Online Information and Databases, Broadcasting, Publishing and
Football Clubs.
David has a Bachelor of
Business with majors in accounting and finance from the University of
Technology, Sydney and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
Australia.
