 Paul Espie, Vice Chairman
Prior to founding Pacific Road in 1986, Paul Espie worked in corporate finance roles in Melbourne, London, Los Angeles and Sydney. He was Managing Director of Bank of America Australia Limited and worked in project and corporate finance, especially in the Australian resources industries.
He was senior vice president, Asia Division, Bank of America, a director of international merchant banking affiliates of the bank and Chairman of the Australian Merchant Bankers Association during the deregulation of the Australian financial system. He has also been a director of several other companies including Adelaide Brighton Limited, Hastings Funds Management Pty Limited, Utilities Trust of Australia and is a Former Chairman of Oxiana Resources Limited, Freight Rail Corporation and Metro Transport Sydney Pty Ltd.
Paul has acted as advisor to major Australian companies, Governments and utilities in the resources, industrial and services sectors. He is now Chairman of Pacific Road Corporate Finance and Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited.
Paul holds degrees as a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
