Alfredo Iodine Project – Chile

Status: Scoping Study/Drilling

In June 2008, PRRF entered into an Option to Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of the Alfredo Iodine Project from Sociedad Contractual Minera La Fortaleza.

The Alfredo property comprises 6 exploitation concessions covering some 2,200 hectares in Chile’s northern administrative Region 1 in the Atacama desert.  Initial drilling on the Alfredo property indicate a resource of approximately 17,000 metric tonnes of iodine.  Activities at the property include confirmation infill drilling and scoping study evaluations.
